About L.I.F.E.

The Foundation and Ministry of L.I.F.E. is a non-profit organization with the goal of facilitating greatness!

The Foundation and Ministry were founded by Dr. Brian N. Hewlett, who firmly believes that ALL human beings, physically and mentally challenged or otherwise, have the capability of doing great things for humanity and The Foundation and Ministry of L.I.F.E.simply wants to facilitate that inherent capability.

Founded by Dr. Hewlett in Arizona and moved to Denver in 2017, The Foundation and Ministry takes as its mission the task of helping to facilitate the removal of structural and/or sociocultural limitations to the citizenry of Colorado and the world.

We manage this mission by raising and administering funds as a non-profit organization to help engage various limitations for persons with physical or mental challenges, underrepresented populations, and populations commonly targeted for discrimination or oppression.

After moving operations to Denver, Colorado in 2017, the Foundation arm of L.I.F.E. established two funds to assist communities with very specific causes:

The My Friend Phil Fund was established to assist families hindered by the cost of medical care and treatments associated with brain cancer and other cancer afflicting immediate family members and to support research that contributes to alternative integrative treatment procedures for various cancer afflictions.

The establishment of the fund was motivated by the death of one of Dr. Hewlett’s longest best friends and college room mates Philip T. Makowski, who passed away after a battle with brain cancer, which involved a treatment that exacerbated his tumors and placed a large financial strain on his family’s resources even with premium health care coverage.

The goal of the fund is to offer supplemental financial resources to families dealing with this unfortunate experience and to provide fellowships to researchers working to offer alternatives or innovation to current models of cancer treatment.

The Limitless Access Fund was established to assist individuals experiencing limitations based on structural and mental barriers in removing them with the help of technology and innovation.

The establishment of this fund was motivated by members of the physically disabled communities in Colorado approaching Red Rocks Amphitheater, The Fillmore, The Ogden, The Bluebird, and other public venues in Denver to demand access to music and art shows the does not hinder or prohibit the experiences of those with physical and mental challenges. Our founder agrees whole heartedly that regardless of disability, people should have access to culture since it is the cornerstone or our human socialization.

The goal of this fund is give individuals a financial avenue to partner with members of their community to rectify situations that aid in limiting their experience to any cultural situation. The individual can request funds to help rectify limitation through structural alterations, personal augmentation, self training, or community education.

In 2018, The Foundation and Ministry of L.I.F.E., in conjunction with Brian Hewlett LLC, is facilitating crowdfunding efforts associated with the forthcoming educational dramatic comedy Hallowed Harmony that was co-created by Dr. Hewlett along with Kyle Wagner. Working with Colorado and Minnesota based festival projects, The Ministry of L.I.F.E. is raising funds for The Soundtrack to Hallowed Harmony Season I, proceeds from the sale of which are intended to benefit the Limitless Access Fund that will help remove limitations to access to music and art events for people with physical and mental challenges.

Simultaneously the Ministry arm of L.I.F.E. has embarked upon two community projects that we believe are extremely necessary for the growth and survival of local communities:

Together with Brian Hewlett LLC, The Ministry of L.I.F.E. offers workshops and training sessions featuring Dr. Hewlett and a number of his associates as they travel across the globe to different festivals, conventions, professional meetings, and trade events spreading the message of economic cooperation and collaboration and community self-empowerment.

Supplemented by generous financial and other resource contributions donated to the Foundation and Ministry,  L.I.F.E. Lessons are workshops that merge science with metaphysics, sacred geometry, and other spiritual themes. They are designed to be practical in nature giving listeners the ability to apply information they know or are learning to exercises they can conduct privately to help raise awareness and manipulate their own consciousness in an effort to remove personal limitations.

The Foundation and Ministry of L.I.F.E. works closely with Brian Hewlett LLC, which consults on and facilitates and manages the operations of cooperative and worker owned enterprise while educating the populous about self-direction, autonomy, and democratization of the workplace and assisting them in the development of models of commerce that benefit all aspects of community.

This community project, upon which they have embarked cooperatively, attempts to bring health care to communities by helping them build a network of health care and wellness providers that are not associated with other Health Care Networks that will exchange health care services with the community members in exchange for the community’s management of the health care network system. The project envisions this exchange as providers giving services while those who receive services assist in the administration and management of the operations of that system by providing a particular amount of labor hours or resources in return for those services.
